lived in rooms they heated with fires

| We had a
guide, who was very funny (he didn't know,
though). He fancied himself an interpreter of
other cultures, and punctuated his lengthy
ruminations when he had isolated yet another
cultural difference with the phrase: "different
relativity!" and then after a
dramatic pause followed by a thought-provoking "hmmm..." I
didn't have the heart to point out that the very
idea of relativity is that it is different.
