After that traumatic first
experience fishing with Jack in the Bob, Beate secretly went to Orvis
Flyfishing school in Vermont.
Her goal was to "blow Jack away, when I walk into
camp with a handful of trout."
Her dream came true in
2000. On a trip to the Bob, Jack and Randy took her to the Southfork
and in an exciting two-day crash course taught her the finer points of
catching trout.
