Ray lives in Pennsylvania, but like many people involved with the Rich Ranch who are not related by blood, he was a guest at first, and then became a member of the very large extended Rich Ranch family.

Ray was a great fishing guide, and a wonderful singer, who entertained countless guests around the campfire with Western songs, Elvis and Louis Armstrong imitations.
