was six years old. It was love at first sight! Klaus showed
Carl Friedrich how to work his Nikon F4, and Carl Friedrich
showed Klaus how to run his model train. |

Friedrich and Beate's father came to visit in May of 1998.
Klaus and CF spent 16 days straight at the
computer, and CF acquired the nickname "Old
Java."
I always thought Old Java looked a little like me, but in this picture from 2000, the resemblance
is striking.
