| These are
the only good pictures I have of my maternal
grandparents. They were avid sailors, sailing the
rivers and canals around Berlin before 1945 when
Berlin was divided and West Berlin was sealed
off. The picture below must have been taken in
the early 40's. There are no pictures of my
paternal grandparents.
